CHIMAC support African economic construction
The containers holding two sets of rotary drilling rig bear off CHIMAC Industry Park slowly, which is to be exported to Nigeria to participate in the modernization building of the state railway.
After CCECC winning the tender of Nigeria railway modernization project, CHIMAC set up Nigeria rail project team of African sector to take part in Nigeria railway construction mainly on providing construction blue print, construction proposals for solving problems, and after-sales service staff station long-term in Nigeria. This is one important step for CHIMAC changing from single product export to twofold export of product and labor service, which is also a further development in CHIMAC international trade extend.
China civil engineering construction corporation, founded in 1979, is formally approved by the state council, the one of the earliest Chinese companies to enter the international market, and its predecessor, the Office of the Ministry of Railways CARE (who have organized and implemented China’s largest economic assistance project, Tanzania-Zambia Railway), the bidding project is a dual standard gauge railway from the southern city Lagos to Nigeria’s northern city Kano. The total length is 1,315 km in total and the design speed is 150 km per hour. Project contract sum come to 8.3 billion USD.
